BOOKING CONDITIONS:

GENERAL - All model rates including lingerie/underwear will be negotiated on an individual basis. All usage must be negotiated as rates apply to shooting time only. Two hour minimum on all bookings. Length of bookings must be specified at the time of booking.

TRAVEL TIME - Half rate
for suburban locations (over 35 miles from downtown Baltimore) shall include one hour at the model/talent’s full hourly rate plus roundtrip mileage. Mileage is charged at $.51 per mile based on the model’s point of departure. Long distance travel must be negotiated prior to the booking. Agency must be provided with the address and phone number of all locations.

HAIR/MAKE UP/PREPARATION TIME - make-up, hair, rehearsal, etc. are billed at the full hourly rate.

FITTINGS - at full rate with a half-hour minimum. Fitting rate applies when a garment is pinned or adjusted, or when model is required to try on two or more garments.

TIME AND ONE HALF - Before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm. Dayrate bookings are eight consecutive hours between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Time and a half after the eighth hour. Holiday, Saturday and Sunday bookings are billed at double time.

There is an agency service charge of 20% on all bookings and usage fees.

CANCELLATIONS - Cancellations of definite bookings within five working days of the beginning of the booking will be charged at half-fee; within three working days, full fee.

TENTATIVE BOOKINGS - Tentative bookings may be cancelled at anytime by either the model or the client at no charge. If the client does not release or confirm tentative bookings, the agency reserves the right to cancel.

WEATHER PERMITS - All same day cancellations are half-fee.

PRODUCTS - Please check all consumer product bookings for conflicts and rate. No bookings for consumer product packages, riser cards, posters, use of models' names or images, hang tags, or any display material, package inserts, etc. may be made without specific agency clearance.

TEST SHOOTING - Model may not sign a photographic release and photographers may not use pictures, unless specific arrangements have been made with the agency prior to shooting

ELECTRONIC MEDIA - To be negotiated on an individual basis in advance.

VIDEO & FILM - All bookings involving motion picture film or video recording must be negotiated in advance.

DOUBLES/TRIPLES - When booking involves more than one model, it is the client's responsibility to inform the agency.

LINGERIE/UNDERWEAR - To be done on a closed set and the client must specify type of lingerie.

CHANGING FACILITIES - Client must provide private changing facilities on all bookings including location.

FURS - LAYST ^LLC does not book jobs that involve or endorse the use of fur.
